About our Kitchen

Image

The Silver Lake Camp Kitchen staff serves three well-balanced meals a day following the Canadian Health Guide which appeals to even the pickiest eater.

All of Silver Lake’s Kitchen Staff have taken the  'In Good Hands’ food handling training course and our Kitchen meets all of the Ministry of Health Guide lines.  We can accommodate most food allergies and dietary needs.

When registering please remember to fill out any dietary needs on your child’s health form.

A sample of previous menus can be found here.
Please note: Some camp names are different on the sample menus. The menus are shown in order of age group, from youngest to oldest. These are not menus for this summer, but rather a sample to give a general idea of the kind of food served.

If you have any questions regarding the food served, allergies or dietary needs please contact Aleasha Grose.

Silver Lake Camp's
Mission Statement

Our goal at Silver Lake Camp is to share the good news of Jesus Christ, of His resurrection and of the promise of new life in Him.

To do this, we make Christ central to all aspects of our programs, leadership and camp community. Much of our focus revolves around building honest, positive relationships with Jesus.

By setting an example in our own lives, it is our hope that we can communicate the value and nature of a personal relationship with Christ himself.
