          • Six rustic, yet comfortable cabins
          • A dining hall

Scamper

(for campers aged 6-8)

Scamper is the perfect introduction for the first-time camper.

We've packed all the fun into a shorter time – just long enough to find out how much they love camp! Staff and volunteers all help make sure that everyone has a great time!

Just because it's short, doesn't mean there's no adventure!

Gapher

(for campers aged 7-10)

The young explorer will love Gapher camp!

Just a little bit longer than scamper, this camp brings out more of the best!

Cookouts over the open fire, adventure games, and more time to build friendships, your child is sure to have an amazing time!

Main Adventure

(for campers aged 9-11)

Main Adventure is a week-long camping experience that you won't want to miss!

Full of fun and, obviously, adventure, this camp offers an amazing program with lots of time to learn outdoor and wilderness skills. Adventure is a great way to meet friends, explore new experiences, and learn more about your faith.

Go!

(for campers aged 10-13)

The excitement, and the campers, won't stop during Go!

The week is jam packed with all our fantastic activities, designed to keep you going morning to night!

Family Camp

Silver Lake is working hard to develop the perfect family camp for you. The focus is on providing you with what you need. A balance of incredible shared experiences for families, and divided children and adult programming allow you to explore your faith.

This long-weekend experience will be the highlight of everyone's summer!

(Note that cabins will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. For those who would prefer, there are tent and trailer options available on-site.)

LDC

(Leadership Development Camp
for campers aged 16+)

A two week program is offered to people wanting to join in the leadership of our camps.

This program is based at several camps, includes a canoe trip in Algonquin Park, and then may include placements at various United Church camps, including Silver Lake.

Minimum age is 16.

Children with
Special Needs

Silver Lake is proud to work with Reach for the Rainbow to provide an environment of inclusion for kids and youth with disabilities, while offering much needed respite for parents.

Connect

(for campers aged 12-14)

Connect with yourself, with new friends,
and with your faith! During this fantastic week-long experience you will take part
in the best Silver Lake has to offer.

Huge events include theme nights with an extravagant meal, and lots of time to meet and hang out with friends, new and old.

Art & Music

(for campers aged 10-14)

This new camp is an exciting opportunity for 10-14 year olds who are interested in the creative side of things.

Art & Music camp will involve all
the great camp activities that everyone loves – swimming, canoeing, games, session activities, and more – but will have a new focus on the arts.

On the art side, campers will have a chance to try their hand at drawing, painting and sculpture led by experienced artists who know how to help kids develop their skills.

As for music – get ready to rock! Campers will have a chance to develop their skill in an instrument and voice
in a band for the final evening battle of the bands with parents as the audience.

(Note that there will be a $20 charge
for supplies.)

Youth Beyond

(for campers aged 15-18)

Looking for a perfect way to end your summer? This is an incredible week that you will not forget!

Called Youth Beyond, because we go WAY beyond your expectations! Bringing together powerful sessions, excellent worship, and life-changing moments, everything goes big – theme nights, beach day, a video dance party, and an awesome banquet dinner.

Silver Lake Camp's
Mission Statement

Our goal at Silver Lake Camp is to share the good news of Jesus Christ, of His resurrection and of the promise of new life in Him.

To do this, we make Christ central to all aspects of our programs, leadership and camp community. Much of our focus revolves around building honest, positive relationships with Jesus.

By setting an example in our own lives, it is our hope that we can communicate the value and nature of a personal relationship with Christ himself.
